O-reason is an innovative mobile application developed to regulate the sale and consumption of alcohol in Wallonia. It enables users to set their own consumption limits via a digital profile and to identify themselves quickly in shop. The aim is to give consumers a sense of responsibility, while making it easier for retailers to monitor consumption.

We worked with O-reason right from the strategic thinking phase, with a scoping workshop to clearly identify the needs of each stakeholder: users, retailers, public authorities. The UX was designed to ensure simple, intuitive adoption. We prototyped mock-ups that were validated by the target users before embarking on mobile development.
